Another Man in the House

Brian has been joined by another man in the house. After many name changes, Gretchen decided on Sonic. He joins the rest of the zoo here at the Bullock residence. The only other guy is Houdini, the hamster. The females are still in the majority with Bat (the cat), Betsy (the dog), Giselle and Edward (the fish, who knows if they are boys or girls?) and Haydn's new kitten (coming this Friday). Not to mention the children.

Brian

The poor guy! It's not easy living in a house full of girls. In fact it is pretty exhausting, then when you finally get a few minutes for a nap, they dress you up. Ask Brian to see his purple toe nail. Oh, the patience of the man!

Music to Our Ears

This last Wednesday was Haydn's orchestra concert at Pleasant Grove High School. It was very impressive. I am amazed at how good these guys sound. Haydn is awesome, her viola skills have improved so much. It seems like yesterday we were sitting through the torture they call the beginning orchestra concerts at the junior high. Then on Thursday, we got to go to the junior high and listen to Cora's band concert. Cora just started percussion this year and is doing a great job. She also started drum lessons a couple weeks ago. Yes, that is where that sound is coming from, our house. This concert was so much fun.

Camping in St. George

Memorial Day Weekend found our family doing what is quickly becoming our favorite summer activity; camping. We stayed in St. George at a great R.V. camp with some friends of ours. We spent Saturday in Zion National Park. All the girls seem to love hiking, even Malori. We made sure she had her "sticky" shoes on so she wouldn't slip on the trail. We were able to go swimming every day and have dinner and breakfast with our camping buddies. It was a blast! We just need to figure out how to keep Malori from rolling out of her bed in the trailer.

We Will Never Forget This Day

May 9, 2009 was an amazing day for our family. Aubrey was sealed to us in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. I cannot explain the feelings that went through me as all six of my girls walked into the sealing room in white. They were angels! We have always thought of Aubrey as one of our kids, but what a great feeling to know that she is ours forever. We love you Aubrey!

Finally!

After a lot of resistance I have finally chosen to succumb to modern technology. Brian won't let me post on his Blog, so here I am. I have too many wonderful things happening in my life to not document them and share them with you. Whenever I start writing something I feel like a total dork and erase it, but I hope you'll get the idea of what I mean. Enjoy.
